Job Summary:
The Social Sciences - Sociology Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in the field of sociology to students in an educational setting. The Sociology Teacher will facilitate student development by implementing effective teaching strategies, assessing student progress, and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:

10. Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and guidelines, promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Sociology or a closely related field.
2. Teaching certification or license in Sociology or Social Sciences (preferred).
3. Proven experience or expertise in teaching sociology at the secondary or post-secondary level.
4. In-depth knowledge of sociological theories, concepts, and research methodologies.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and establish positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
6. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
7. Demonstrated ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.
8. Proficient in utilizing technology and educational software to enhance instruction and student learning.
9. Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and deliver instruction, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records.
