Summary:

Responsibilities:
1. Study scripts, comedic sketches, or improvisational scenes thoroughly to understand the character's motivations, objectives, and comedic nuances.
2. Collaborate with directors, writers, and fellow actors to develop and refine comedic performances.
3. Rehearse scenes and routines to ensure precise delivery of comedic timing and punchlines.
4. Memorize and deliver lines with clarity, authenticity, and comedic flair while maintaining character consistency.
5. Engage in improvisation exercises to enhance comedic skills and contribute to spontaneous comedic moments during performances.
6. Adapt performances based on directorial feedback and suggestions to meet the vision and requirements of the production.
7. Attend auditions and casting sessions to showcase comedic abilities and secure roles in various comedic productions.
8. Maintain physical and vocal flexibility to effectively portray a wide range of comedic characters.
9. Stay abreast of current comedy trends, styles, and techniques to bring fresh and innovative elements to performances.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts, Performing Arts, or a related field is preferred.
2. Proven experience and a strong portfolio of comedic performances, including stage productions, film, television, or improvisational comedy.
3. Excellent comedic timing and the ability to deliver punchlines and physical comedy with precision.
4. Proficient improvisation skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
5. Strong understanding of comedic techniques, such as slapstick, satire, farce, and observational comedy.
6. Exceptional acting skills with the ability to portray a diverse range of comedic characters convincingly.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with directors, writers, and fellow actors to bring comedic scripts to life.
