Job Summary:
The Voice Actor is responsible for using their vocal skills and talent to bring characters to life through voice-overs for various mediums, including animation, films, television shows, video games, commercials, and audiobooks. The Voice Actor will collaborate with directors, writers, and producers to accurately portray the desired character emotions, personalities, and storylines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform voice-overs for characters in animation, films, television shows, video games, commercials, and audiobooks.
2. Interpret scripts and collaborate with directors, writers, and producers to understand the character traits, emotions, storylines, and overall project requirements.
3. Use vocal techniques to convincingly portray various characters, including altering pitch, tone, tempo, and accent.
4. Deliver high-quality voice recordings that meet project deadlines and technical specifications.
5. Incorporate feedback from the creative team to refine performances and meet the desired artistic vision.
6. Ensure vocal delivery matches the intended character movements and actions for animation and video game projects.
7. Work closely with sound engineers to ensure optimal sound quality and appropriate microphone techniques.
8. Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate recording sessions and make necessary adjustments for revisions or re-recordings.
9. Stay updated with industry trends, voice acting techniques, and new technologies to enhance performance skills.
10. Adhere to confidentiality agreements and protect sensitive project information.
