Job Description: Analog Design Engineer
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Analog Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and verifying analog circuits and systems. As an Analog Design Engineer, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge electrical systems and play a vital role in ensuring product quality and reliability.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and optimize analog circuits and systems for various electrical engineering projects.
2. Conduct detailed analysis, simulation, and troubleshooting of analog circuitry to ensure optimal performance and adherence to project specifications.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to determine system requirements and specifications.
4. Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, layouts, and test plans.
5. Develop and execute test procedures to verify analog circuit designs and identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques related to analog design engineering.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, as needed.
8. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures throughout the design and development process.
9. Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
10. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure successful production and integration of analog circuitry into the final product.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in analog circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
3. Proficiency in using industry-standard design and simulation tools (e.g., Cadence, SPICE).
4. Strong knowledge of analog circuit design principles, including amplifiers, filters, and voltage references.
5. Familiarity with analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters.
6. Solid understanding of semiconductor devices, including transistors and diodes.
7. Proficient in conducting circuit simulations, such as transient, DC, AC, and noise analyses.
8. Experience in PCB layout design and signal integrity analysis.
9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex engineering challenges.
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
11. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
12. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
13. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical engineering.
14. Knowledge of programming languages, such as VHDL or Verilog, is a plus.
15. Experience in the field of power electronics is advantageous.
