Position: Circuit Design Engineer

Job Summary:
The Circuit Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical circuits for various applications. This position requires a strong technical background, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of projects. The Circuit Design Engineer will play a key role in driving innovation and ensuring the reliability and functionality of electrical circuits.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop electrical circuits based on project requirements and specifications.
2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify appropriate circuit components and technologies.
3. Create schematic diagrams, printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, and associated documentation.
4. Perform circuit simulations and analysis to optimize performance and ensure adherence to design standards.
5. Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of circuit designs into larger systems.
6. Test and validate circuit designs through prototyping, troubleshooting, and comprehensive testing methods.
7. Conduct risk assessment and implement mitigation strategies to ensure circuit reliability and safety.
8. Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in circuit design.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams during product development, manufacturing, and testing phases.
10. Comply with all relevant quality standards, regulations, and company policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in designing and developing electrical circuits, preferably in a professional setting.
3. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, circuit simulation tools, and PCB layout software.
4. Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles, as well as signal integrity and power distribution considerations.
5. In-depth knowledge of circuit components, including microcontrollers, amplifiers, filters, and sensors.
6. Experience with circuit analysis and simulation tools such as SPICE, PSpice, or LTspice.
7. Familiarity with industry-standard design and testing methodologies, including Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT).
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex circuit issues.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
10. Detail-oriented and able to work with a high level of accuracy and precision.
