Position Overview:
The Retail and Sales Pricing Strategy Consultant will play a vital role in driving revenue growth and profitability for our organization through the development and implementation of effective pricing strategies. Key Responsibilities:

3. Conduct comprehensive pricing analysis to determine optimal pricing levels, including cost analysis, pricing elasticity, and customer segmentation.
4. Collaborate with merchandising, sales, and marketing teams to develop pricing models, promotional strategies, and discount frameworks.
5. Monitor pricing performance and conduct regular pricing reviews to assess effectiveness and recommend necessary adjustments.
6. Provide recommendations on pricing adjustments based on market dynamics, demand patterns, and profitability goals.
7. Conduct pricing simulations and scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of pricing changes on revenue and margins.
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop pricing guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure consistency across the organization.
9. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes related to pricing strategies.
10. Present pricing recommendations and strategies to senior management, explaining the rationale behind proposed changes and expected outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, or Marketing. A master's degree is preferred.
2. Proven experience (X years) as a Pricing Strategist, Pricing Analyst, or in a similar role within the retail or consumer goods industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of retail merchandising and sales dynamics, including pricing methodologies, competitive positioning, and market trends.
4. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to leverage data and statistical models to drive pricing decisions.
5. Proficiency in using pricing analysis tools, data visualization software, and Excel to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated track record of developing innovative pricing strategies.
