Job Description: Taxonomy Manager
The Taxonomy Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive taxonomy framework to organize and classify information within the Library and Information Science field. This role requires a deep understanding of information management principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science, Information Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (X years) in taxonomy development, management, and implementation within a similar industry or domain.
3. Strong understanding of information management principles, metadata standards, and taxonomic structures.
4. Proficient in utilizing taxonomy management tools and software.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and translate it into a clear taxonomy structure.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring that the taxonomy is consistently updated and maintained.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
