Job Summary:
The Forensic Document Examiner is responsible for analyzing and examining various types of documents to determine their authenticity, origin, and any alterations or forgeries. Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct detailed examinations and analysis of questioned documents, including handwritten signatures, printed material, counterfeit currency, altered documents, and other related items.

3. Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings, including observations, analysis, and conclusions, adhering to established forensic protocols and procedures.
4. Collaborate and assist law enforcement agencies, legal professionals, and other stakeholders in criminal investigations, civil litigation, and other legal matters requiring document examination expertise.
5. Provide expert witness testimony in court proceedings, presenting and defending findings and conclusions related to questioned documents.
6. Stay updated on advancements in forensic document examination techniques, tools, and research to enhance professional expertise and maintain proficiency.
7. Maintain accurate and organized case files, records, and evidence logs in compliance with legal and departmental requirements.
8. Collaborate with other forensic experts, investigators, and professionals to exchange knowledge, insights, and best practices in the field of forensic document examination.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
