Position Overview:
The Communication and Media - Public Relations - Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance the organization's brand presence and increase engagement with its target audience. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to drive brand awareness, increase followers, and engage the target audience.
- Create, curate, and manage all published social media content (images, videos, written and audio) across various platforms, ensuring it aligns with the organization's brand guidelines.
- Monitor social media trends, platforms, and tools to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages promptly, and foster positive relationships with the online community.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and leverage their expertise to create compelling social media content.
- Use analytics tools to track and analyze social media performance, providing regular reports on key metrics and insights to inform future strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in social media marketing, incorporating them into the organization's social media strategies.
- Identify and develop partnerships with influencers and industry experts to amplify the organization's social media reach.
- Monitor and manage online reviews, feedback, and inquiries, ensuring prompt and appropriate responses.
- Stay informed of relevant industry news and events that could impact the organization's reputation, and proactively address any potential risks or crises.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and their respective best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools, analytics platforms, and listening tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
