Position: Tax Analyst

Reports to: Senior Tax Manager

Job Summary:
The Tax Analyst is responsible for assisting in all aspects of tax compliance, research, and planning activities. This role requires a strong understanding of tax principles and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The Tax Analyst will work closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify and interpret relevant tax laws and regulations
- Assist in the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary financial data and information for tax reporting purposes
- Prepare tax schedules, workpapers, and supporting documentation for audits and examinations
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, proactively identifying potential risks or opportunities for the organization
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax benefits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging tax issues
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, providing tax expertise and guidance as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Taxation, Accounting, or a related field
