Position Overview:
The International Trade Specialist is responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis to support organizations in navigating the complexities of global trade, with a focus on economics and international markets. The specialist will apply their expertise in economics, trade policies, and market trends to provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making and optimize international trade operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on international trade policies, agreements, and market trends.
2. Monitor and evaluate economic indicators, trade data, and regulatory changes to identify potential impacts on international trade activities.
3. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of global market dynamics, trade barriers, and emerging opportunities.
4. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to stakeholders on international trade strategies, including market entry, expansion, and risk mitigation.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the feasibility and potential impact of proposed trade initiatives.
6. Prepare and present reports, presentations, and economic forecasts to internal and external stakeholders.
7. Stay updated with relevant industry publications, research papers, and studies to enhance knowledge in international trade and economics.
8. Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, trade associations, and industry experts.
9. Assist in the development and implementation of trade-related training programs for employees to enhance understanding and compliance.
10. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, policies, and procedures.
Required Skills:

Qualifications:

2. Master's degree in Economics, International Trade, or a relevant discipline is highly desirable.
