Job Summary:
The Digital Artist is responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging digital art assets using a variety of digital tools, software, and techniques. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Art Director and other team members to bring creative concepts to life, ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital artworks that meet project requirements and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create and develop digital art assets, including illustrations, 2D/3D designs, animations, and visual effects, using industry-standard software and tools.
2. Collaborate with the Art Director and other team members to understand project objectives, visual style, and requirements.
3. Transform conceptual ideas into visually captivating and original digital artworks.
4. Ensure adherence to project guidelines, technical specifications, and brand standards.
5. Conduct continuous research on emerging trends, techniques, and technologies within digital art and design.
6. Maintain a strong understanding of design principles, color theory, composition, and storytelling techniques.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital art assets into various platforms, including websites, mobile applications, and social media channels.
8. Adapt and revise artwork based on feedback and direction provided by the Art Director and stakeholders.
9. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.
10. Stay updated on industry best practices and contribute to the improvement of processes and workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Digital Art, Graphic Design, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Digital Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital art projects.
3. Proficiency in industry-standard digital art software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Autodesk Maya, or similar.
4. Solid understanding of digital art techniques, including digital painting, illustration, 3D modeling, texturing, and animation.
5. Excellent knowledge of design principles, color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
6. Strong creative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box.
7. Ability to adapt and work in various art styles, including realistic, stylized, and conceptual.
8. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual quality.
9. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and discuss creative ideas.
10. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
