Job Summary:
The Environmental Chemist will be responsible for conducting scientific research and analysis focusing on the identification, measurement, and management of chemical substances in the environment. Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct chemical analyses and assessments of environmental samples, including air, water, soil, and biological materials.

3. Perform laboratory experiments and tests using specialized equipment and instrumentation.

6. Stay updated with advancements in environmental chemistry research, regulations, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in environmental chemistry, including the analysis of environmental samples.
3. Strong knowledge of chemical analysis techniques, instrumental methods, and laboratory protocols.
4. Proficiency in operating and maintaining analytical instruments such as gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, atomic absorption spectrophotometry, etc.
5. Familiarity with environmental regulations, standards, and guidelines related to chemical substances.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex scientific data.
7. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
8. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
9. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
