Job Summary:
The Process Control Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of process control systems within the organization. This role involves designing, implementing, and improving process control strategies to optimize production efficiency, safety, and quality. The Process Control Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement advanced process control strategies to optimize the performance of industrial processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience (X years) in process control engineering within a chemical manufacturing or similar industry.
3. Strong knowledge of process control systems, including distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
4. Proficiency in process control software, such as Advanced Process Control (APC) and Model Predictive Control (MPC) systems.
5. In-depth understanding of various control strategies, including regulatory control, cascade control, and model-based control.
6. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to process control, such as ISA-95, ANSI/ISA-88, and IEC 61508.
7. Ability to analyze complex process data, perform troubleshooting, and identify opportunities for optimization.
8. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
