Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Physical Therapist will work closely with patients to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized physical therapy programs. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care to patients, help them regain physical functionality, and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' medical history and physical condition to determine appropriate physical therapy treatment plans.
2. Develop and implement individualized physical therapy programs based on assessment findings and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
3. Utilize a wide range of therapeutic techniques and modalities to reduce pain, restore mobility, and improve functional abilities.
4. Monitor and document patients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
5. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home exercise programs, and preventive measures.
6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
8. Adhere to legal and ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice in all patient interactions.
9. Continuously update knowledge and skills through participation in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences.
10. Stay informed about advancements in physical therapy techniques, equipment, and research to enhance treatment effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
2. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. Minimum of [X] years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in a healthcare setting.
4. Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
