Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the supply chain process within the organization. This includes managing the movement of goods, materials, and information from suppliers to customers, ensuring efficient and timely delivery. The Supply Chain Coordinator will collaborate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners, to optimize supply chain operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, coordinate, and monitor the overall supply chain process to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
2. Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to develop and implement supply chain strategies and operational plans.
3. Monitor inventory levels and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained to meet customer demands while minimizing excess inventory.
4. Coordinate and track shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
5. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, negotiating contracts and pricing agreements to optimize costs and service levels.
6. Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions and ensure continuity of operations.
7. Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate process enhancements.
8. Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance, conducting regular performance reviews and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall supply chain efficiency, including demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory management.
10. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in supply chain coordination or logistics management.
3. In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, transportation, inventory management, and warehousing.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
6. Proficient in using supply chain management software and systems.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
9. Attention to detail and accuracy in managing documentation and records.
10. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
