Job Description: E-commerce Supply Chain Manager
Position Summary:
The E-commerce Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations within the E-commerce division. This role involves coordinating and managing the flow of products from suppliers to customers, ensuring efficient inventory management, and meeting customer demands in a timely manner. The E-commerce Supply Chain Manager is expected to drive continuous improvement initiatives, streamline processes, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to optimize the E-commerce supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of products, reducing lead times, and minimizing costs.
2. Oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics.
3. Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and IT, to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives and customer demands.
4. Continuously monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency.
5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure the availability of high-quality products at competitive prices.
6. Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, and sales trends to effectively manage stock levels, prevent stockouts, and minimize excess inventory.
7. Ensure accurate and timely order processing, shipment tracking, and delivery, resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
8. Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in E-commerce supply chain management, recommending and implementing relevant improvements to enhance the overall supply chain operations.
9. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience (X years) as a Supply Chain Manager or a similar role in the E-commerce industry.
3. Deep understanding of E-commerce supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, demand planning, and logistics.
4. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools, with a strong ability to analyze data and generate meaningful insights.
5. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills, with a track record of successfully managing supplier relationships.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve supply chain issues promptly.
