Job Summary:
The E-commerce Analyst is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and improving various aspects of the E-commerce operations within the Retail and Sales department. This role involves conducting data-driven research, generating actionable insights, and making informed recommendations to optimize the performance of our online sales channels. The E-commerce Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and interpret E-commerce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards, reports, and metrics to monitor the performance of E-commerce initiatives.
3. Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify industry best practices and emerging trends.
4. Collaborate with the marketing team to analyze and optimize online marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising.
5. Utilize web analytics tools to track customer behavior, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
6. Review and analyze customer feedback, reviews, and ratings to identify areas for improvement in product offerings and online shopping experience.
7. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to website functionality, user experience, and checkout processes.
8. Collaborate with IT and web development teams to implement technical enhancements and resolve any E-commerce platform-related issues.
9. Support the development and execution of A/B testing and conversion rate optimization strategies.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices in E-commerce analytics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst or similar role, preferably within the retail industry.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
5. Familiarity with web analytics, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization techniques.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights.
7. Knowledge of E-commerce platforms, content management systems, and online marketing channels.
8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present complex information to stakeholders.
9. Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
10. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
