Position Overview:
The Sales Support Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by ensuring smooth operations and efficient coordination of sales activities. The Sales Support Coordinator will collaborate closely with the sales team, customers, and various internal departments to facilitate sales processes and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support to the sales team, including but not limited to managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
2. Assist in the preparation and distribution of sales-related documents, such as proposals, contracts, and presentations.
3. Manage and maintain the customer database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
4. Act as a liaison between the sales team and other internal departments, such as marketing, finance, and logistics, to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
5. Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
6. Generate and analyze sales reports to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges for the sales team.
7. Assist in the coordination and execution of sales events, trade shows, and conferences.
8. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives.
9. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential sales opportunities.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and market developments to provide valuable insights to the sales team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in sales support or a similar role within the retail industry.
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management and document preparation.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and engage with customers.
6. Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
8. Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
9. Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
10. Knowledge of retail sales processes and familiarity with sales techniques and strategies.
