Job Summary:
The Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a results-driven individual with excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the client base and achieve sales targets.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
3. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, assess their needs, and propose tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and product/service enhancements based on market trends and customer feedback.
5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of the company's products/services.
6. Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions for both the client and the company.
7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
8. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager, analyzing performance against targets and recommending corrective actions as needed.
9. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company's products/services and expand professional networks.
10. Continuously update knowledge of industry best practices, market trends, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
3. Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients at all levels.
5. Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a strong focus on closing sales.
6. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
10. Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
