Job Summary:
The Retail Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various retail projects within the organization. This role will involve overseeing the successful implementation of retail initiatives, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget and meeting timelines. The Retail Project Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the retail business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans for retail projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
2. Plan and execute retail initiatives, including store openings, renovations, expansions, and relocations.
3. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project scope.
4. Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively taking appropriate actions to mitigate potential roadblocks.
6. Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered within allocated budget and resource constraints.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including visual merchandising, operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of retail projects.
8. Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to key stakeholders and senior management.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
10. Evaluate project outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned in future projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Retail Project Manager or in a similar role within the retail industry.
3. Strong understanding of retail operations, store design, and visual merchandising.
4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing, and executing retail projects within budget and timeline constraints.
6. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive project success.
7. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a high attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
9. Proficient in project management software and tools.
