Job Title: Mixed-Use Real Estate Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mixed-Use Real Estate Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Real Estate Development professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire development process of mixed-use real estate properties, from conception to completion. Your expertise and strategic approach will be instrumental in driving successful real estate projects that meet our organization's objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential mixed-use real estate development opportunities and assess their feasibility
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and designs that align with the organization's goals and objectives
- Oversee and manage the entire development process, including site acquisition, zoning and entitlements, design and construction, leasing, and property management
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and timelines
- Implement effective project management strategies to ensure successful execution of development plans, including coordinating and monitoring all project activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, government agencies, and local communities
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in mixed-use real estate development to inform decision-making and ensure compliance
- Manage risk analysis and mitigation strategies throughout the development process
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and recommendations for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in real estate development, with a focus on mixed-use properties
- In-depth understanding of real estate market dynamics, including market trends, zoning regulations, entitlement processes, and construction practices
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management, financial analysis, and investment feasibility assessments
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Proficient in using various software applications, including project management tools, financial modeling software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including investors, government officials, architects, and contractors
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating leadership qualities and a proactive approach to achieving project objectives.
