Position Overview:
The Real Estate Sales Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in the real estate sales process. This role involves monitoring and enforcing internal policies and procedures to maintain ethical practices and mitigate legal risks. The Compliance Specialist collaborates with sales teams, agents, and management to uphold industry standards and promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program for real estate sales, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines.
- Monitor and assess real estate sales activities to identify areas of potential compliance risk and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits and review sales contracts, documents, and records to identify any violations or discrepancies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate sales compliance or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing real estate sales.
- Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and professional codes of conduct in real estate sales.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve compliance issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Attention to detail and ability to review and interpret complex legal documents.
- Proven ability to deliver training and presentations on compliance-related topics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
