Job Summary:
The Power Plant Operations Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the security operations within the power plant facility. This role requires ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and critical infrastructure. The Security Manager will develop and implement security protocols, monitor compliance, and investigate any security incidents or breaches. Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive security plans and protocols for the power plant facility.

3. Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend necessary improvements.
4. Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
5. Manage and monitor security personnel, including contract security guards or in-house security staff, ensuring proper training and adherence to security protocols.
6. Coordinate with external law enforcement agencies, emergency response teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective security measures are in place.
7. Investigate security incidents, breaches, or suspicious activities promptly and thoroughly, reporting findings to appropriate stakeholders.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering, to identify security risks and implement preventive measures.
9. Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (X years) in a similar role within power plant operations or critical infrastructure security management.
3. In-depth knowledge of security systems, such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
4. Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing power plant security, including NERC CIP and FERC requirements.
5. Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and security audit procedures.
6. Excellent leadership and management skills to oversee security staff and contractors effectively.
7. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
