Job Description: Utility Procurement Specialist
Position Overview:
The Utility Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in managing the procurement process for energy and utility services within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for energy and utility services, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives.
2. Conduct comprehensive analysis of energy and utility requirements, evaluating current usage patterns and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
3. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting thorough market research and analysis to ensure the selection of reliable and cost-effective providers.
4. Negotiate contracts and agreements with utility suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, competitive pricing, and adherence to quality standards.
5. Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, service level agreements, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility procurement or a related field within the energy and utilities industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of energy markets, utility services, and procurement strategies.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
5. Proven negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and build strong relationships with suppliers.
