Job Summary:
The Energy Infrastructure Planner will be responsible for designing, planning, and optimizing the energy infrastructure systems for various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of energy engineering principles and the ability to develop innovative solutions to meet the energy needs of clients. The Energy Infrastructure Planner will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and schedule constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive analysis and evaluation of energy infrastructure systems to identify requirements and propose efficient solutions.
2. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, cost estimates, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, architects, and regulatory authorities, to gather project requirements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
4. Utilize advanced energy modeling and simulation tools to optimize energy systems and evaluate performance.
5. Prepare and present technical reports, feasibility studies, and design recommendations to clients and senior management.

7. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in energy infrastructure planning and design.

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in energy infrastructure planning and design, preferably within the utilities or renewable energy industry.
3. Strong knowledge of energy systems, including power generation, transmission, distribution, and storage.
4. Proficiency in utilizing energy modeling software, such as HOMER, PSS/E, or PVSyst.
5. Solid understanding of relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to energy infrastructure planning and design.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
7. Strong project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
8. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly and concisely.
9. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
10. Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, is desirable.
11. Professional certifications, such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Professional Engineer (PE), are advantageous.
