Job Description: Director of Performance - Project Management Office (PMO)
The Director of Performance - Project Management Office (PMO) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the performance and success of project management initiatives within the organization. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement performance management strategies to optimize project performance within the PMO.

3. Monitor and evaluate project performance against established metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
4. Collaborate with project managers to provide guidance and support in project performance analysis, identifying key issues and developing solutions.
5. Conduct regular performance reviews and evaluations of project managers, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance performance.
6. Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports for senior management, providing insights into project performance trends and areas of concern.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline project management processes, identify best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
8. Lead the development and implementation of standardized project management methodologies, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency.
9. Provide leadership and guidance to the PMO team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in project management, incorporating new approaches and technologies to enhance project performance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a PMO.
3. Proven track record of successfully driving performance improvement initiatives within a project management environment.
4. In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and practices.
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
7. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve high performance and meet business objectives.
8. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
