Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Seaplane Pilot to join our team in the Aviation and Aerospace industry. As a Seaplane Pilot, you will be responsible for safely operating seaplanes, ensuring smooth and efficient flights, and maintaining excellent communication with ground control and passengers. Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate seaplanes during takeoff, landing, and in-flight, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines, company policies, and industry standards.
2. Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, including checks on aircraft systems, fuel levels, and navigational equipment to ensure airworthiness and safety.
3. Plan and execute flight routes, taking into consideration weather conditions, air traffic, and potential obstacles.
4. Communicate effectively with ground control, air traffic control, and other pilots to ensure seamless coordination during flight operations.
5. Provide excellent customer service to passengers, including assistance with boarding, disembarking, and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
6. Monitor aircraft performance and instruments during flight, promptly identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from normal operating conditions.
7. Complete accurate flight logs, maintaining records of flight times, fuel consumption, and any incidents or irregularities that occur during flights.
8. Stay updated with industry regulations, new technologies, and best practices related to seaplane operations, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
9. Collaborate with the maintenance team to report and rectify any mechanical or technical issues, ensuring the aircraft is in optimal condition for each flight.
10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance piloting skills, knowledge, and certifications.
Qualifications:
1. Hold a valid and current FAA Commercial Pilot License with Seaplane Rating.
2. Minimum of [X] flight hours logged, with a significant portion in seaplane operations.
3. Demonstrated experience as a Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for seaplane flights.
4. Excellent knowledge of aviation regulations, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
