Summary:
The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an efficient and secure network infrastructure. This role involves working closely with the IT team to support network operations, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure the overall performance and availability of the network.
Responsibilities:
1. Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices.
2. Configuring and managing network protocols, such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.

7. Managing network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
8. Assisting in the planning and execution of network-related projects, including network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
9. Providing technical guidance and support to junior network engineers and other IT staff as needed.
10. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to network engineering and security.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
4. In-depth understanding of network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
5. Hands-on experience configuring and managing network devices from various vendors.
6. Proficiency in network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
7. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
11. Industry certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent, are highly desirable.
